Important Dates & Upcoming Events


Monday, July 8th - 6:00 PM - Inside the Wee Bolts Stadium located at 515 N. Main St.

All NEW FOOTBALL PLAYERS must attend the draft day***
Players should wear comfortable sports clothes and tennis shoes, as well as bring a small water bottle to the draft day session. During the draft new players will first demonstrate a short series of non-contact skills and will then be assigned to teams/colors during the draft picks. At the end of the draft procedures, each family/player will be notified which color team they will be on for the 2019 season.

Tuesday, July 9th - 6-8 PM - 6th Grade

Wednesday, July 10th - 6-8 PM - 5th Grade

Thursday, July 11th - 6-8 PM - 4th Grade

Friday, July 12th - 6-8 PM - 3rd Grade

Friday, July 12th - 6-8 PM - Bantam

The Equipment Building will also be open on Saturday, July 13th - 8-10 AM for any players who missed their assigned day/time during the week.

July 22, 2019 -   (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri - for first 3 weeks)
Football Practices will be at Wee Bolts Stadium Practice fields at 515 N. Main Street from 6pm-8pm

***ALL Football Players*** will be required to bring their completed 2019 GCYC physical form (click link to print physical form) and copy of birth certificate to first practice. These items should be given to the head coach or team mom/parent rep.

July 27, 2019 - Coaches will provide more info on this event.

August 10 & August 11, 2019 - GCYC Schedule will be released around the first week of August.


Cheer Uniform Pick Up Dates

July 15th
Bantam from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
3rd Grade from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

July 16th
4th Grade from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
5th Grade from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
6th Grade from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Cheer Camp Week Dates:
July 22-26, 2019 - Centennial Park (Englewood)
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri  from 6:15 PM - 8:15 PM

**ALL CHEERLEADERS will be required to bring their completed
 2019 GCYC Physical Form (click link to print physical form) to first practice. These items should be given to the head cheer coach or assistant cheer coach.

Cheer Practices
Practices will be determined by the Cheer Coach for each grade/color. Coaches will notify their squad of their practice days -- which will typically be held 2-3 times per week following the week of Cheer Camp.

Game Days
Games are held mostly on Saturdays and some Sundays. Start times to games will vary based upon the grade level of team. Regular season games will start (TBD) and go through mid-October. Each team is guaranteed to play in at least one league tournament game and has the possibility of games through first weekend of November if advance in tournament to finals round.

Items Required for First Practice

Sports Physical:
ALL PARTICIPANTS (football & cheer) will need to bring a completed physical form with
them the first night of practice.THE EXAM DATE MUST HAVE OCCURRED
IN THE 2019 CALENDAR YEAR (after Jan 1, 2019). Note that most insurance companies
will only pay for one physical a year.

Lindsay's Law Compliance:

- Sign and Turn in Player and Parent Acknowledgment Form (Click the Link to Download)
**NOTE** Team Mom's will have copies to be signed during the first week of practice

Birth Certificate Copy:
- Each football player will also need to bring a 
copy of their birth certificate
them to the first practice to give to their team mom.

Football Equipment to Purchase (Responsibility of Player):

(to be purchased in addition to the Wee Bolts issued items)
- Shoulder Pads 
- Football Cleats (No Metal Spikes Permitted)
- Mouthguard (can be any color EXCEPT clear and MUST be attached to the helmet)
- Sports Protective Cup

General Information and Policies

All HOME GAMES will be held at 515 N. Main Street, Englewood OH 45322

There is NO SMOKING allowed on the practice field or game day stadium. If you wish to smoke, please do so in the privacy of your vehicle. This policy will be strictly enforced and can result in removal from practices/games.

NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS are permitted on the premises. Anyone caught violating this policy will be immediately ejected and could face possible criminal charges

NO PETS are allowed at the practice field or game day stadium. Any service animals must have proper identification to be permitted.

All NON-PARTICIPANT CHILDREN (non-registered children) must be directly supervised at all times. The Wee Bolts Organization is not responsible for non-participants while at any Wee Bolts / GCYC sponsored practice, game, facility, or event.

The Northmont Wee Bolts are a family friendly organization. All persons shall show respect for others by refraining from the use of foul language or inappropriate behaviors/gestures and shall not exhibit disruptive behavior while at any Wee Bolts / GCYC sponsored practices, games, facilities, or events. A violation of this policy will result in a verbal warning, and if required following the warning, any further disciplinary action necessary such as ejection from the facility or being banned from a future or all Wee Bolts events.

At NO POINT in a game shall a parent, spectator, or non-authorized person enter the field of play without the permission of the referees and head coach. Authorized persons shall be named on the official coaches sideline roster.
